SPM result is already out !!

Congratulations to all the students. You deserve the result. Good or bad, excellent or poor, only Allah knows why He gave u such result . There is always a ‘hikmah’ or reason . Sometimes you think you have been studying so hard to get straight A’s but Allah knows what is the best for you. Some of us, just study so-so but the result is superb ! Well, probably he / she is gifted and genius smart student which requires less effort compare normal people like us . Yes, there are cases/students in this category. I think we are use to hear this kind of comment

“ Ala.. si X ni, baca sat saja dah masuk..Aku ni baca p la sepuluh kali payah nak masuk”

“ Si A ni aku tengok, study relax ja, tak pun stay up sampai pagi tapi result gempak"

Let us look at this year result . The best student is Galdys Tan Yee Kim from SMK Green Road,Kuching, S’wk. The best school is Sekolah Menengah Sains Seremban, NS

Another 9 among the best are Grace Kiew Sze-Ern (SMK (P) Sri Aman, Petaling Jaya, Selangor); Khadijah Ahmad Jais (SM Agama Persekutuan Labu, Negeri Sembilan); Akmal Hidayat Sabri (SMK Derma, Kangar, Perlis); Syamilah Mahali (Kolej Tunku Kurshiah Seremban, Negeri Sembilan); Amelia Lee Wei Ling (SMK Taman Melawati, Selangor); Nur Syuhadah Muhamad (SM Sains Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra, Kota Bharu, Kelantan); Lai Yin Kwin (SMK Tinggi Melaka, Melaka); Corinne Gunn Huey Min (SMK Taman Melawati, Selangor) and Hu May Khei (SMK Convent, Taiping, Perak).


Whereas another 9 best schools are Kolej Islam Sultan Alam Shah, Klang, Selangor; Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi (SBPI) Gombak, Kuala Lumpur; Sekolah Tun Fatimah, Johor; Sekolah Menengah Sains Alam Shah, Kuala Lumpur; SBPI Rawang, Selangor; Sekolah Menengah Sains Muar, Johor; SBPI Temerloh, Pahang; SMK Infant Jesus Convent, Johor Bahru, Johor and Kolej Tunku Kurshiah Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.


Alhamdulillah, KISAS is in. Albeit is already 10 years I am far apart from SPM fever, but every year without fail, I am so thrilled to know the result and to see where is my school's rank this year.

But still I am sooo outdated about the SPM format. I just got to know they have this kind of A+, A and A- . Wow !! This shows that our students are getting smarter. Merely, A is not notably describe how smart he/she is.

Let’s us imagine when the time my daughter & your children sit for SPM. Probably we will have A-, A, A+, A++, A+++. Ooohhhh… More and more moms will be more kiasu.

I mean that is the system we have in place. Like it or not, we have to follow unless you have a power to change it or you never bother about other moms who busy sending their children to tuition, pushing their children to study...study..study to make sure they get straight A's for instant, while you can sit back and say "A is not important for me, as long as my child acquire a living skill for future" or for whatever reason and etc.

Indeed I agree A at school can never promise our future. But this A is a measureable unit we inherit for yearsssss. So as of now, go along with it...who know one day the system might change. Are you ready for that ?
